Yale Book Awards
If you would like to start and/or sponsor a Yale Book Award at a high school in the Valley, please notify the Yale Club (firstname.lastname@example.org) and contact the high school so that the school’s awards committee can select an 11th grader who demonstrates “outstanding personal character and intellectual promise.”
**Allow about two weeks for the book and bookplate to arrive.
Participating Schools: BASIS Phoenix, Phoenix Collegiate Academy
Younger members, members new to Phoenix, and members looking to make a career change may find the Yale Career Network helpful. It’s a great resource that allows us to ask fellow Yalies questions about their work. If you’d like to mentor fellow Yalies, participating in this network could be a wonderful opportunity.
Alumni Schools Committee (ASC)
If you’d like to sign up to interview, please visit the ASC website. Our ASC Director Cameron Fine is happy to answer any questions about the sign up process or about interviewing: email@example.com
As Mark Dunn ’07 (Associate Director of Yale Admissions) expressed at our event on November 3rd 2014, these interviews really do help him and the admissions committee when reviewing prospective students’ applications.
Most people who interview very much enjoy the experience as it allows them to give back to and stay connected with Yale by meeting future and past Yalies. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to improve our own interviewing skills. This contribution to the ASC, the Yale Club of Phoenix, and Yale is much appreciated.
